ILLINOIS HUMANITIES COUNCIL ANNOUNCES FREE GRANT WORKSHOP FOR SOUTHERN ILLINOIS

Interested grant applicants invited to attend workshop on application process

CHICAGO—The Illinois Humanities Council (IHC) invites grant applicants to a free public Major and Mini Grant workshop on October 4th from 9:30 A.M until 12:00 P.M . This free workshop will be held in the conference room at The Carbondale Public Library, 405 W. Main Street. Parking will be available off Monroe Street. Angel Ysaguirre, IHC Director of Community Programs, will lead the meeting and field questions about applying for grants for various types of projects, including media requests; website projects; local and community, or oral history projects; exhibit projects, namely photographic exhibits. Kay Rippelmeyer-Tippy, IHC Program Liason for Southern and South Central Illinois, will also be in attendance. The workshop will also address the issue of repeat funding.
